The Day the Music Died

Today I read a short passage called The Day the Music Died. This passage was mainly about music getting banned all throughout public schools in Mishawaka, Indiana. They banned it on school buses and on school grounds. Soon high school kids started to protest so the ban was lifted for them but it was still in place for middle school and elementary school.

REACT- The solution to the music ban was not fair to everyone because everybody didn't listen to violent music and listening to music helps most kids concentrate better.

  1. Good point! Not everyone was listening to disrespectful music so I agree that the ban doesn't seem fair for everyone! Thanks for separating your response into two sections! It is so much easier to read this way :)
